This program is open to the residents of Redwater and close surrounding area.

Trained volunteers will help file basic income tax returns for those individuals earning less that $35,000 and couples earning less that $45,000 annually who need assistance and qualify for the service.  Call the Community Services office at 780-942-4101 to find out if you qualify and to book an appointment.  Please ensure you have all of your tax information slips before booking an appointment. For more information, please click here. Join in on the fun at Pembina Place on Monday, February 17 from 1:00- 4:00 pm as we celebrate our Family Day of Fun!  We will have special performances by: Champion Figure Skaters: Aurora Cotop, Brian Chiem, and Hye Jin Cho, and the Northern Lites Synchronized Skating Club (beginning at 1:00 pm – doors open at 12:30 pm), then the Heartland High Energy Jump Rope Club beginning at 1:30 pm.  Other activities include: Ice Cream Sundae Bar; Hot Chocolate; Family Skate; Mini Golf and Bean Bag Toss; Lions Club Mascot; Face Painting; Storytime and Fort Building; Family Painting; and more. Introduction to Board Governance – a workshop for non-profit and volunteer boards

On Saturday, January 25 we will be hosting an “Introduction to Board Governance” workshop at Pembina Place.  This workshop will be facilitated by Alberta Culture and Tourism and will cover a variety of topics related to the responsibilities and requirements of a not-for-profit or volunteer board.  The cost is only $15 to cover the lunch and snacks that will be included in this full day course.  If you're interested, please register early as we need a minimum of 15 people and are limited to a maximum of 30.  Please click here for more information.

Youth Action Club

The Redwater Library holds weekly meetings for the youth Action Club on Tuesdays from 3:15 to 4:30 pm for youth in grades 5-9.  Pop in and join them for free, fun activities.  For more information, please click here.

The Community Services Board is looking for a new member! 

The Community Services Board provides recommendations to the Town of Redwater Administration and Council on community events and programs.  We are currently looking for a Member at Large to join our Board.  Meetings are held once per month from September through June and Board members receive an honorarium of $25 per meeting.  For more information, please click here.
