Regular Council Meetings are generally scheduled at 6:30 pm on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month and Committee of the Whole meetings are scheduled at 6:00 pm on the 4th Tuesday of each month. Meetings are open to the public however, participation in the meeting as a member of the public is limited to Scheduled Delegations and the Public Input portion of the Agenda.
Scheduled Delegations
Anyone wishing to make a presentation to Council must complete the delegation request no later than 4:00 pm on the Tuesday in the week before the scheduled Meeting of Council (Procedural Bylaw, Section 16). If completed and signed online the request form will automatically be forwarded to the Chief Administrative Officer.
Public Input Session
During this portion of the meeting, members of the public have an opportunity to ask Council questions, seek clarifications, or express opinions on resolutions, bylaws, or other matters. To participate in the Public Input Session we request you sign up with the Chief Administrative Officer before 4:00 pm on the Tuesday preceding the meeting. Speakers are limited to a maximum of five (5) minutes each during the Public Input Session.
